Job Purpose
The Regional Operations Manager is accountable for the strategic, operational standards, and financial performance of a multi-property portfolio within a hotel and casino group. This role provides management oversight across hospitality and gaming operations, ensuring consistent brand standards, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable profitability across all properties. The position is responsible for driving performance through strong leadership of General Operations Managers, embedding group strategy at property level, and aligning operations with commercial, governance, and risk frameworks across multiple functions.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years senior leadership experience in hotel, casino, gaming, or integrated resort operations
- Proven ability to implement operational strategies that support revenue growth, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
- Experience operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions
- Experience in complex stakeholder environments, including regulators and government bodies
- Exposure to growth, expansion, refurbishment, or development projects advantageous
Main Responsibilites
- Provide e’management oversight of 8 properties across South Africa and Botswana, ensuring consistent delivery of operational standards, guest experience excellence, and compliance.
- Lead and manage the performance of all General operations Managers, ensuring clear accountability, performance management, and leadership development.
- Drive operational efficiency across all functions within the properties
- Drive revenue optimisation strategies across gaming, hospitality, conferencing, entertainment, and other services.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance tracking across the portfolio.
- Ensure full compliance with gaming regulations, hospitality legislation, licensing requirements, labour law, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks in both South Africa and Botswana.
- Drive succession planning, talent development, leadership capability building, and transformation initiatives across regions.

- Act as a senior representative of the group in the region, managing relationships with regulators, shareholders, government bodies, tourism authorities, joint venture partners, suppliers, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between corporate leadership and regional operations.
- Ensure consistent guest experience standards and service excellence across all properties.
- Oversee reputation management, guest satisfaction performance, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Drive customer loyalty, repeat business, and market differentiation strategies.
