Job Purpose

Repair and maintain the property and equipment to its original condition.

Create a safe working environment for all staff

Provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Formal Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Grade 12 or N3
  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the hospitality maintenance field
  • Minimum of 5 year’s experience as a maintenance manager
  • Trade qualification

    • Management and monitoring of departments operations
    • Manage training and development of staff
    • General management of department
    • Oversee the day to day running of department.
    • Manage work orders
    • Manage teams work performance.
    • Manage departments administrative tasks
    • Manage Compliance and key maintenance
    • Manage service providers
    • Manage maintenance systems
    • Manage department H&S
    • Manage planned and preventative maintenance programs
    • Manage maintenance inspections
    • Implement systems to improve efficiency, service, and reliability on property.
    • Project management
    • Manage contractors
    • Manage work done by external parties
    • Manage departments budgets
