Promotions Co-ordinator

Job Purpose

To creatively and innovatively plan and execute promotions.  Assist in co-ordinating and evaluating all Promotional Activities as per the required Standards within the agreed budgetary limits and parameters, thereby assisting in driving increased Revenues and Footfall to the Complex.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Post Matric Diploma or degree in Marketing will be advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

• 2 – 3 years Casino Marketing or Casino Promotions experience required.
• Post Matric Diploma or degree in Marketing will be advantageous.
• Strong event management and promotions co-ordination skills required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills required.
• Retail marketing or promotions experience is preferred.
• Computer literacy is essential (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Shift work is an operational requirement.

Main Responsibilites

• Assisting in the planning of promotional calendar according to market demands and departmental requirements.
• Create, plan and research promotions for Emperors Palace.
• Execution and reporting of promotions.
• Implementation of policies and procedures for all promotions.
• Communication and budget control are key functions.
